Massive step towards BFA Academy

The Botswana Football Association is delighted to announce that the Football Association (BFA) and INEOS Botswana today signed a cooperation agreement.

Ineos simultaneously signed a lease agreement with BNSC. The signing of the two agreements means that the building of the academy will begin soon. The academy is set to be built in Gaborone.

Botswana Football Association President Maclean Letshwiti expressed delight at the signing of the two documents highlighting this was a massive step in progressing Football in our country.


Zebras to return home today

The Senior National team the Zebras are set to return home today after their goalless draw on matchday one against Zimbabwe. The Zebras who now focus on a date with the current African Champions Algeria will have little time to rest as they face the Desert Foxes on Monday night at the Gaborone National stadium.

Coach Adel and his charges are expected to land in the country at 1900hrs at the Sir Seretse Khama international Airport. The Zebras opponent Algeria, on the other hand, landed in the capital city on Friday night after play a day earlier than the Zebras on Thursday.

Tickets for the Zebras vs Desert Foxes are still on sale at all Shoprite and Ok furniture stores in the country with Grandstand going at P 30.00, Panda stand going at P20.00 and North and South stands going for P10.00
