Bondo nominated for the referee of the season award

Botswana international referee Joshua Bondo was last night nominated for the prestigious referee of the season award by the Botswana National sports Commission. Bondo who had a Sterling performance in 2016 referring at the African nations cup upto semifinal stage will be a top runner for the award as he completes alongside Edgar Serole of Volleyball and Gaone Poane of Tennis.

The awards will be held on the 16 September 2017 at the Boipuso Hall

Tholakele Made It to BNSC Sportswoman of the Year Nominees

The nominees for the category of the sportswoman of the year at the 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) have been unveiled.

The reigning CAF Women Champions Golden Boot and Vunani Annual Botswana Women Sports Awards winner Refilwe Tholakele is up for yet another accolade, this time at The 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) Awards after the sports commission announced a list of nominees on Thursday.

The BNSC announced that, in addition to Tholakele, two other athletes have been nominated for the award: track and field athlete Oratile Rose Nowe and karateka Lesego Masimola

The winner will be announced on May 18,2024 at Royal Aria Convention Centre
