COSAFA Women’s Championship 2017 Draw

Botswana has been drawn against South Africa, Lesotho and Namibia in Group C at this year’s COSAFA Women’s Championship. The draw was be held at the Johannesburg studios of the tournament’s official broadcaster, Kwese Sports.

Defending champions Zimbabwe know who they will have in their group A. It is the first time the tournament has had as many teams before had only 12 sides. he last one was held in 2011.

The tournament will be held in Bulawayo from 13 September.

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
