Morwa Rising Stars walk to raise funds

Botswana Football Association President Maclean Letshwiti on Saturday took part in the Morwa Rising Stars sponsored walk. The BFA President was the chief walker in a 10km walk that was aimed at raising funds for the division 1 club.

As chief walker, the President encouraged the regional leadership and clubs to follow in the example of Morwa Rising stars in making sure they find ways of raising funds for their club.

The walk was attended by club legends as well as regional and block leaders of the kgatleng region where Morwa Rising stars come from.
A total of P 6, 600 was made which the club will use towards logistics of the upcoming 2019-2020 football season.

Intermediate Referees Course Concludes Today

GABORONE: Botswana Football Association (BFA) through its technical department (Referees Department) held an Intermediate Referees Course closing ceremony. The course commenced on the 18th of March and ended today (22 March 2024).

A total of 37 participants from 9 regions took part in the course. The aim of the course is to bring regional referees up to the national level (first division).

The course was specifically organized for match officials from the southern and western blocks and was led by two local instructors, technical instructor Dintwa Dintwa and physical instructor Arone Masilo.

Congratulations to all the referees who successfully completed the Course!  It’s great to see the dedication and passion for football officiating in Botswana.
