Onkabetse has passed away

This communiqué serves to inform the football fraternity about the death of Mr Tebro Onkabetse who passed away on Sunday 04 June 2017 after a short illness.

Mr Onkabetse is a former Chairman of Selibe-Phikwe Regional Football Association and he also served at the National Executive Commitee Board – Botswana Football Association for a number of years.

Mr Tebro Onkabetse will be Laid to rest on Saturday 10 June 2017 in Selebi Phikwe at Botshabelo cemetery. Memorial Service will be at Ikageleng hall , New stance in Selebi Phikwe at 1600 hrs to 1800 hrs on the 08 June 2017

BFA to Assemble Assessment Camp

The head coach of the senior national team “The Zebras”, Didier Gomez Da Rosa, is set to assemble an assessment camp for the U22 national team from April 29 to May 1, 2024, which will take place at Lekidi Football Centre.

The purpose of the team is to identify potential players who will build a graduate Senior Men’s National Team besides the Olympic Under-23 Team.
