Zebras is in Morocco for a week’s training camp and a friendly game against DR Congo on the 4th June before returning to Botswana on the 6th June ahead of the crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Maurirania. When giving the update, the BFA PRO Mr Tumo Mpatane said the team landed safely in Casablanca, Morocco today.
“But Lesego Galenamotlhale, Thabang Sesinyi, Pako Rampou and Mothusi Johnson of TAFIC and two officials could not travel with the travel with the rest of the team due to visa and passport problems.They spent the night in South Africa but, now, they back home with the association, ” updated Mr Mpatane.
“It’s an unfortunate situation but we are working around the clock, together with Morocco Football Association, to resolve it to the best possible solution,” explained Mr Mpatane.
