Malete to take charge

Botswana Football Association would like to take this time to send its deepest condolences to the Family of coach Gaoletlhoo Nkutusang who lost her father this week, the coach has been given leave from camp with immediate effect to attend to the funeral arrangements.

Assistant coach Alex Basimanebotlhe Malete will take charge of the Mares in her absence this week including the Botswana vs Namibia game which he will be in charge of

Tholakele Made It to BNSC Sportswoman of the Year Nominees

The nominees for the category of the sportswoman of the year at the 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) have been unveiled.

The reigning CAF Women Champions Golden Boot and Vunani Annual Botswana Women Sports Awards winner Refilwe Tholakele is up for yet another accolade, this time at The 43rd Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) Awards after the sports commission announced a list of nominees on Thursday.

The BNSC announced that, in addition to Tholakele, two other athletes have been nominated for the award: track and field athlete Oratile Rose Nowe and karateka Lesego Masimola

The winner will be announced on May 18,2024 at Royal Aria Convention Centre
